Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Appoints John Lauck as President and CEO
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals® (www.CMNHospitals.org), a charity that raises funds for 170 children’s hospitals across North America, today announces the appointment of John Lauck as president and CEO.
Lauck, who most recently served as Co-CEO of Mrs. Fields Famous Brands, brings extensive leadership, innovation, operations and marketing experience to his new position.
“Lauck has a strong vision for increasing fundraising results and further establishing Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals as a top children’s charity,” said Dianna Morgan, chair of the Board of Trustees. “His compassion, enthusiasm and outstanding leadership experience will be the driving force in expanding our organization’s brand and outreach.”
In addition to his role at Mrs. Fields, Lauck served as president and chief marketing officer for Arby’s. He has also served in senior marketing roles at PepsiCo/Pizza Hut, General Mills, Blockbuster and Footaction. John received his BA and MBA from Brigham Young University.
“I am humbled to be part of an organization that raises more money than any other charity for children’s hospitals around the country and is saving the lives of children every day,” said Lauck. “We will continue to focus and build on our success of bringing our hospitals, sponsors, partners and expanded team together to provide more miracles for children at local children’s hospitals.”
Lauck is assuming the role as president and CEO of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals following the retirement of Scott Burt. Prior to Burt’s position as president and CEO, he served as COO and has played a critical role in the organization since 1986.
