iPhone and iPod touch users can now download an application connecting them with Children’s Miracle Network, an international non-profit organization that raises funds for children’s hospitals. iugo LLC, a company that uses innovative technology to connect donors with causes, developed the application for Children’s Miracle Network.

The application is called “Real Miracles” and can be downloaded free of cost from the Apple Store online. It is one of the first non-profit applications available for the iPhone. It utilizes software that can instantly stream video of an inspiring child helped by Children’s Miracle Network, connect the user to various relevant websites, and enable instant donations through PayPal or text messaging. Additionally, every time “Real Miracles” is opened, the user is told how many children Children’s Miracle Network has helped since the last time the app was engaged.

“The ‘Real Miracles’ app demonstrates how technology allows us to reach potential donors and in turn will help children in more than 170 children’s hospitals,” said Children’s Miracle Network Senior Vice President of Information Technology Tony Rehmer. “We hope to break down the barriers people may have to charitable giving by making it easy for anyone of any age around the globe to donate.”
