Log A Load
Visit Their WebsiteLog a Load for Kids has raised approximately $15 million nationally to help sick and injured children. Individuals and businesses in the community contribute to help local children’s hospitals. You can be sure that donations to Log a Load for Kids help children close to your home.
Log A Load For Kids was started by the South Carolina Forestry Association in 1988. The American Pulpwood Association became the Log A Load For Kids national sponsor in 1993. The basic concept is for loggers and wood-supplying businesses in various states to donate the value of a load of logs to their Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Many other special events sponsored by companies in the logging and forestry industry and other logging-supported organizations also generate significant funds. The program has raised more than $28 million in the last 15 years.
