Phi Mu
Visit Their WebsitePhi Mu Fraternity is the second-oldest women’s social organization, founded in 1852 at Wesleyan College. Because the word “sorority” was not commonly used when Phi Mu was chartered, its proper name is Phi Mu Fraternity even though it is a women’s organization. Phi Mu was the first Greek Organization to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals as its national philanthropy - joining in 1983. Since then, the women of Phi Mu have raised more than $8 million to support their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Each year, collegiate and alumnae chapters of Phi Mu raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals through a variety of events, including the signature Hoopa-Palooza tournament, pageants, bake sales, charity denim sales, golf tournaments, joining the Torch Relay, Miracle Jeans Day and Dance Marathons.
