2018 Children’s Hospitals Week sponsors announced

To shine a light on the importance of children’s hospitals and how donations help kids get the best care when they need it, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is proud to partner with Ace Hardware, Marriott International, Marriott Vacations Worldwide, Delta Air Lines, AflacAir Canada Foundation and Walmart Canada to present the second annual #ChildrensHospitalsWeek, scheduled for March 5-11.

The week-long initiative is designed to bring awareness to the critical fact that children’s hospitals rely on donations to provide care for kids — no matter their illnesses or injuries.

Thank you to the following corporate partners who have made the needs of children’s hospitals across North America a cause worth supporting.

Ace Hardware

As a partner of more than 25 years, Ace Hardware has raised over $93 million for CMN Hospitals throughout the United States. Ace proudly supports local CMN Hospitals through their annual Miracle Bucket promotion, Round Up at the register and many other campaigns and events with the help of their retailers and customers, vendors and corporate team members.

Walmart Canada

Walmart Canada has sponsored the Children’s Miracle Network Champions program for more than 10 years, and this year, joins the effort as a sponsor for Children’s Hospitals Week. Walmart Canada, together with Walmart and Sam’s Club in the U.S., has helped raise nearly $1 billion to help kids live better.

Marriott International and Marriott Vacations Worldwide

In 2018, Marriott International and Marriott Vacations Worldwide are celebrating 35 years of helping sick and injured kids get better. Together the two companies have raised nearly $130 million.

Delta Air Lines

Delta Air Lines has been helping miracles take flight for 20 years as a proud partner of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Delta takes great pride in helping 153 CMN Hospitals across America take the best care of the smallest patients via donations, grants and flight underwriting.

Aflac

For 22 years, Aflac has been helping to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with cancer, raising and contributing more than $122 million to this cause. Since 2016, Aflac has partnered with CMN Hospitals, including the Aflac Cancer Center in Atlanta, while developing programs like Duckprints, Macy’s Holiday Duck, and My Special Aflac Duck, designed to empower and bring comfort to childhood cancer patients across the nation.

Air Canada Foundation

Celebrating their 25th year of partnership, the Air Canada Foundation provides hundreds of flights each year through its Hospital Transportation Program, allocating over 10 million Aeroplan Miles so that children, accompanied by a parent, can access state-of-the-art medical care that isn’t offered in their own community. Thanks to this program, families can avoid unexpected expenses associated with a child’s hospitalization, providing them with peace of mind that allow them to focus on the health and well-being of their sick children. The Foundation also supports hospitals with monetary grants to address specific needs, provides airline tickets for hospital fundraising events and has sponsored the Canadian Champions program for four consecutive years.

To learn more about how these CMN Hospitals partners have made a difference in the lives of pediatric patients, tune in to the Facebook Live-athon on Wednesday, March 7, at 7:30 p.m. (EST). The exciting, live event will feature appearances by various celebrities and of course, the Champions, 10 kids who represent the 10 million kids treated annually at Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals throughout the U.S. and Canada.
