Vizo Financial Hosts 5th Annual Hot Dog Fundraiser Benefiting CMN Hospitals

Middletown, PA- On July 25th, Vizo Financial hosted their 5th annual Hot Dog Eating Contest/Fundraiser that supports Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and Penn State Children’s Hospital. The event raised a remarkable $3,300 that will support thousands of kids and their families.

How it worked: Nine contestants from central Pennsylvania credit unions competed to see who could eat the most hot dogs in 5 minutes. Cody Johnson from Belco Community Credit Union won the men’s division by eating over 7 hot dogs and Brit Parker from AmeriChoice FCU won the women’s division by eating 5 hot dogs.

Two patients from Penn State Children’s Hospital were there to join in the fun and share their difficult journies and connection with the hospital. Erin Doan, Admin and Community Relations Director for Vizo Financial said “Having the miracle children and their families make the contest feel complete. We get to hear firsthand how the money we are raising is helping the children in our communities.”
