Audacy, formerly Entercom is the Media Partner of the Year

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is thrilled to announce Audacy as the Media Partner of the Year!

The Media Partner of the Year recognizes an outstanding strategic partner that demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to CMN Hospitals through innovative fundraising and awareness initiatives in media.

In 2020, Audacy:

  • Our Audacy partners broadcast over 300 hours to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
  • Audacy donated valuable airtime nationwide for our public service campaign tied to CMN Hospitals Kids Can’t Wait messaging helping reinforce the urgent need for funding during the pandemic.
  • Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals benefitted from the partnership with Audacy whose business commitment to children’s health provides significant social impact for our communities.

Despite the unprecedented challenges of an unfolding pandemic, the management teams, local staff and on-air talent at Audacy stations stepped up in significant ways to ensure that Radiothons continued in 2020 all across the country. Audacy stations still managed to raise over $5M, despite the global pandemic. In addition to the over $5M raised, multiple Audacy stations each year (including 2020) hosted events in Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals top ten performing Radiothon events.

Focused on the importance of meeting the needs of their local children’s hospitals, stations across the country did their best to engage listeners and provide meaningful ways to engage on their platforms.

Select markets even set new fundraising records. For example, our station partner Alice 105.9 Alice in Denver continues to exceed their goals and break records yearly, raising over $1.4M in 2020. Our partners in Baltimore on MIX 106.5 raised a staggering $1.42M during their 31st annual event in 2020.

For all of these reasons and many more, we are proud to name Audacy as the Media Partner of the Year! Congratulations Audacy and thanks for all you do to change kids’ health and change the future.
