Why run the Detroit Free Press Marathon, International 1/2 Marathon, or start a relay-team? Because some people cannot talk, walk or even eat. That's why. Please join Team #SweetCaroline by actively participating in the 2017 Detroit Marathon.
As Team #SweetCaroline the goal is to raise $1500 to support PATCH. Caroline's birth year. Caroline was born with Trisomy 18. She passed away at 14 months of age due to cardiac issues. Every day of her life was a blessing.
A Pediatric Palliative Care and Hospice program that allows children and families to be FAMILIES for as long as possible, making every moment together special.
The program provides comfort and support to children of all ages with life-limiting conditions. The program serves the unborn through early adulthood. The entire team provides compassionate and personalized care to children as well as practical and spiritual support to the entire family.
