I have recently picked up running as a hobby - to clear my head, to keep a decent health, and to balance out my love for snacking and good food. I have always ran for myself. As I slowly increased my distance, I wanted to keep going further. I completed my first 10k (6.2 miles) on May 4. I was so overjoyed by the experience that, in that same week, I signed up for my first half marathon - so here we are! I will be running my 1st half on November 17th in LAS VEGAS!

Instead of running for me, this time I will be running for the kids! I recently moved to Michigan from Ohio and started working at Beaumont Health - the largest health care system in Michigan. I love my job and I love raising funds for Children's Miracle Network and Beaumont Children's.

My goal is to raise $1,310 - $100 for every mile of the race. Please help me give back to an organization that has welcomed me with open arms and an organization that I am truly passionate about. Please donate to help sick and injured kids at Beaumont Children's.

I realize that running 13.1 miles is no small feat. My months of training and hundreds of miles will now be dedicated to a great cause. Here is to no turning back....Cheers!
