Northeastern Regional Police Dept No Shave November

Northeastern Regional Police Dept No Shave November

Join the Northeastern Regional Police Department in participating in our first NO SHAVE NOVEMBER! Over the next 40 days, some of our officers may look like they haven’t shaved in weeks, some may look a little “patchy” and some…. well they might just get an “A” for effort. No-Shave November is a month-long journey during which participants forgo shaving in order to increase conversation and raise cancer awareness. The goal of No-Shave November is to grow awareness of cancer by allowing the growth of hair, which many cancer patients lose. In order to participate, Chief Bryan Rizzo has temporarily suspended the grooming policy of the NERPD to allow facial hair from November 1, 2019 until December 10, 2019 and the officers have kicked in $40.00 to jump start this fundraiser. This will be our first year participating in the fight against cancer which effects so many of our families and neighbors. All proceeds will go to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network and Penn State Children’s Hospital.
