A Collection of Rare Unplugged Live Artist Performances Benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals

The syndicated Blazy & Bob show recently opened up its vault of rare, intimate musical performances for a $25 donation to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.  Blazy & Bob can be heard mornings on CMN Hospitals Radiothon partner KHIP the Hippo, and release this collection of live acoustic performances as well as collections from their live shows and Breakfast Clubs.

Listeners get special access to one-of-a-kind unplugged songs from Gregg Allman, James Taylor, Melissa Etheridge, Kenny Loggins, Counting Crows, Nils Lofgren, one of the last radio studio recordings of the late  Shannon Hoon and Blind Melon, Paul Rodgers and Neal Schon, Michael Penn, Chris Isaak, John Lee Hooker, Craig Chaquico, Pat DiNizio of the Smithereens and Little America.

Live shows include performances from now departed rock legends Ronnie Montrose, Brad Delp of Boston doing “Long Time” and Keith Emerson with “Fanfare for the Common Man,” along with Blazy, Bob and their listeners live on stage with The Doobie Brothers! Other live performances feature Peter Frampton, Bryan Adams, Steve Miller, Robin Trower, Steve Vai, John Waite, The Rembrandts, Stephen Bishop and more.

Live and local radio raises more than $50 million annually for CMN Hospitals across the U.S. and Canada. Funds raised help Hospitals cover the costs of their most immediate need. Funds raised can help cover charitable care, research, or equipment needed by patients in that community.

The Hippo just completed its Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Radiothon December 6, 2016 to raise funds for local CMN Hospital, Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital.
