On July 27th, Miracle Network Dance Marathon programs lit up their social media channels to help spread the word about Dairy Queen’s Miracle Treat Day.

Dance Marathon programs were able to compete for the opportunity to receive a donation for their local hospital and ice cream for any event hosted by their program. Programs could post from their official channels using the hashtag #DM4MiracleTreatDay and the posts with the most social media engagement would be declared the winners.

In total, there were over 230 individual posts from Dance Marathon program accounts using the #DM4MiracleTreatDay hashtag with a total of 45,670 likes, comments, and shares.

And the winners are…

First Place:

Knight-Thon at the University of Central Florida

 

Knight-Thon won the first place prize, which includes a $5,000 donation for their local children’s hospital, Arnold Palmer Medical Center in Orlando, Fla., and 1,800 Dairy Queen Dilly Bars for their Dance Marathon.

Second Place:

Clemson Miracle at Clemson University

 

Clemson Miracle has won a $3,500 donation for their local children’s hospital, Greenville Health System in Greenville, S.C., and 1,080 Dairy Queen Dilly Bars for their Dance Marathon.

Third Place:

Purdue University Dance Marathon

 

Purdue University Dance Marathon has won a $1,500 donation for their local children’s hospital, Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, Ind., and 720 Dairy Queen Dilly Bars for their Dance Marathon.
