LeVar Burton is an actor, director, producer, host, and author. He has received numerous awards including 12 Emmy’s, a Grammy, and 5 NAACP awards. LeVar’s had many iconic roles including Kunta Kinte in Roots and Lt. Commander Geordi La Forge in Star Trek: Next Generation. He was the host of Reading Rainbow for 23 seasons and is the host of the popular podcast LeVar Burtons Reads.
