Calendar Delivery: December 2025 

For staff: There will be pick up locations identified for you to pick up your calendar, which will be communicated via email. If you would like to have your calendar delivered to your unit/clinic, please identify your unit/department in the "Company" section.

For community members: Calendars will be mailed to you at your billing address.

Child Life and Creative Arts Therapy Facility Dog Program

The Child Life and Creative Arts Therapy Department works with patients, families, and the medical staff to provide services that meet the unique psychosocial and developmental needs of each child and family. The facility dogs at UC Davis Health were trained and provided free of charge to the child life specialist handlers from Canine Companions for Independence and help comfort and normalize the experience of children and teens during a visit to the hospital.

The CARE Project's Canine CARE Program

The CARE Project offers opportunities for self-expression, relaxation, and recreation; fostering independence and enhancing quality of life through evidenced-based clinical interventions and therapeutic activities. Volunteer Canine CARE therapy dogs visit adult patients, helping individuals cope with their hospitalization and providing motivation to engage in treatment.
