Regina Buccafusco Memorial Fund

Throughout her adult life, Regina suffered from severe rheumatoid arthritis, a condition that left her grandmother bedridden by her thirties. But, as Regina often said, “Life is about how you handle Plan B.” Although there were many activities that her disability prevented her from doing, she refused to allow it to define her or to constrain the good she could do in the world. Regina worked tirelessly to expand opportunities for people in the community. And she constantly challenged herself--and everyone around her--to make the most of the opportunities they had been given.
