Longhorn Care Day

Longhorn Care Day 2025. My name is Joseph. Single father of two amazing kids. I have been giving away Care Bears to kids at each of the Texas Volleyball home matches that I attend. This will be the fourth season of Longhorn Care Day. I am not affiliated with Texas or any other entity. I am one person. I simply want to spread joy and love to others. A small act of kindness. I believe one can make a difference.

I decided this season I wanted to do more which is the reason I created this fundraiser. Please consider making a donation commitment and donate a certain amount ($1 or more) for every Care Bear I give away during the 2025 volleyball season. I will post to my Instagram story (IG: twingunsatx) on the day of a home match to announce how many Care Bears were handed out. I will also update this fundraiser throughout the season with the total Care Bears given out. You can submit your total donation at the end of the season or throughout the season. Whatever works with your budget.

Note: I average around 2 Care Bears each home match. There are approximately 11 home matches this season. If Texas hosts tournament matches in the post-season then it could be around 14 home matches. This means a total of 28 Care Bears could potentially be given away.

Example (2 Care Bears per home match): $1.00 donation commitment = $2.00 per home match. $2.00 per home match = $28.00 total contribution by end of season.
