Love’s Travel Stops celebrates miles of miracles for kids through September 30

From August 26 to September 30, Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores will raise funds for 101 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across the United States.

During this 19th annual fundraising campaign, Love’s customers can purchase $1, $5 or $20 miracle balloons or a Love’s and CMN Hospitals water bottle from which $2 of every sale goes to support your local children’s hospital.

Many Love’s locations will also host other fundraising events such as bake sales, barbecues, car washes and golf tournaments throughout the five-week campaign.

Funds raised help kids like Chloe, who was diagnosed with leukemia at age 5. Donations provided Chloe with a port for receiving oncology treatments and a vein finder machine that helped locate her veins when she received her initial diagnosis.

After more than two years of painful treatments, Chloe is now cancer-free. She visits the hospital for lab work every three months to ensure the cancer doesn’t return.

Jason, Chloe’s dad, is a professional truck driver who covers routes from the west to east coast. He utilizes the services offered at Love’s year-round, in part because of the help they provided his daughter and millions of other kids who have been cared for by CMN Hospitals.
