Miracles On 34th Street Mediathon Breaks Records
The community in Kern County helped the Lauren Small Children’s Center at Memorial Hospital and KGET-TV17 break records for donations in their annual mediathon.
Anchors Jim Scott and Tami Mlcoch spent the day (12/14/16) broadcasting from the hospital, educating viewers in the Golden Empire about the benefits of having Lauren Small Children’s Center right here in Bakersfield and the financial needs associated with operating this facility.

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Telethons, Mediathons and Radiothons are broadcasted on over 350 TV and radio stations each year. Stations engage listeners with inspiring stories of Miracle Children from area communities and ask viewers and listeners to call in and pledge support for local kids.
