Miss America’s Outstanding Teen, London Hibbs has a play date at Dallas Children’s Health with Miss America, Nia Franklin

On Saturday, Oct. 13, I had the incredible opportunity to visit Dallas Children’s Health for the third time as Miss America’s Outstanding Teen, this time with the newly crowned Miss America, Nia Franklin, and Miss Texas, Madison Fuller. On this particular occasion, we hung out in “The Zone” and got to meet some of the most amazing kiddos. Whether it was playing Fortnight, Barbies, or Go Fish, each of us sincerely enjoyed putting smiles on the faces of these brave children, and I think they put even bigger smiles on ours.

Some of the kids didn’t feel up for heading down to The Zone at first, but getting to make their very own tiara with Miss America brought about so much excitement and happiness. Every day I am inspired by the fact that a child’s day, week, or year can be made by receiving something as simple as a friendship bracelet from Miss America’s Outstanding Teen. I can’t wait for my next visit to Dallas Children’s Health, and I’m so thankful to CMN Hospitals for the difference they make in the lives of beautiful children across our country.

London Hibbs, Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2019, is the National Teen Goodwill Ambassador for CMN Hospitals. She has raised over $10,000 for her local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and begin volunteering at them at the age of 12.
