The Torch Relay for CMN Hospitals Reaches first $100k

With nine days until the first city event in San Francisco, the Torch Relay for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has reached over $100,000 raised for CMN Hospitals. Twenty-two cities are set to host the Torch Relay, which helps raise fund for each city’s local CMN hospital.

The Torch Relay began in 2002 as a continuous relay starting in Miami, Florida and ending in Orlando, Florida. In 2003, the event was expanded to include northern Florida and Georgia. The first coast-to-coast Relay was held in 2005 and has continued to grow every year since. From the simple beginnings of the event, The Torch Relay for CMN Hospitals has raised over $14.1 million dollars for children’s hospitals nationwide!

Individuals and teams are welcome to sign-up for free online at www.Torch-Relay.org. Each #everdayhero will receive a t-shirt and medal when raising over $40 with the Torch Relay. For more info, contact cmnh@torch-relay.org
