YEAR IN REVIEW: ANN & ROBERT H. LURIE CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL OF CHICAGO

Congratulations Lurie Children’s Hospital, on your incredible achievements in 2017! We would like to highlight the impact that you’ve made in the Chicagoland community and the surrounding areas.

In 2017, the ten Dance Marathon programs in the Chicagoland area collectively raised roughly $1 million after welcoming two new Dance Marathon programs: Concordia University and Northwestern University PT to their DM family. To encourage growth and best practice sharing amongst their Dance Marathon’s, Lurie Children’s Hospital hosted a retreat on December 1^st where programs were able to learn new strategies to help them in the upcoming year.

Additionally, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago continued building relationships with all of their corporate partners. Notably, is their strong relationship with CMN Hospitals national partner, Panda Express. Chicago is the second largest, Panda Express CMN market in the nation. In 2017, the Hospital inaugurated Panda Express as a Diamond Member of Lurie Children’s Circle of Corporate Champions, and awarded “Largest Year-Over-Year Increase” at their Lurie Children’s 2017 CMN rally.

Lastly, the 18^th annual Eric & Kathy’s Kids Radiothon held from Monday, August 14, 2017- Friday, August 18, 2017 was a huge success. At the culmination of the five-day event, they had raised $1,001,556 for the Hospital.
