In 2011, nearly 1,200 Great Clips salons raised more than $488,000 for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals by selling the iconic Miracle Balloon, as well as hosting events like cut-a-thons or bake sales. Many stylists also donate their own time, visiting member hospitals to cut children's hair.

Every October Great Clips salons in communities across the United States and Canada sell Miracle Balloons to benefit their local Children's Miracle Network Hospital. Last year, the top salon raised $4,228, just one dollar at a time.
