Become a Miracle Maker, Run to Help Kids

“I’ve been running the Princess weekend with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals since 2014. My twin sons, Logan and Lennon, were born seven weeks early and required a stay in NICU after birth. I started running after their birth as a way to process the stress, and when I saw the opportunity to run for children’s hospitals, it was meant to be.”  — Katie Heck, pictured with her twins (Read more of her story here.)

“It brings me so much joy and pride to fundraise for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. My inspiration for participating is my son, Jacob, who is profoundly deaf and is a bilateral cochlear implant recipient from a local children’s hospital.”  — Christine Carranza

“We run in memory of my brother, Chip, who passed in 2001 at the age of 18 of acute lymphocytic leukemia. He received all of his treatments at a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, and we are so thankful for the help and treatment he received there.”  — Scarlett Scoville & Kimberleigh Sherrell

“This will be my fourth year in a row running for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. My almost 6-year-old daughter spent most of the first three years of her life at our local children’s hospital. She was born with a heart defect and has had four open-heart surgeries. If it wasn’t for the amazing care she has received and continues to receive, she wouldn’t be the cute, funny, dramatic and loving little girl she is today.”  — Melissa Lasbury
