Ace Hardware Named 2020 Corporate Partner of the Year
The Corporate Partner of the Year award recognizes outstanding strategic partners that have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to CMN Hospitals through innovative fundraising and awareness initiatives.
Ace Hardware was recently named the 2020 Corporate Partner of the Year by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The Corporate Partner of the Year award recognizes an outstanding organization that has demonstrated extraordinary commitment to CMN Hospitals or Foundations through innovative fundraising and awareness initiatives. The award announcement was part of Children’s Hospitals Week, celebrated April 19-25, 2021.
It was quite an extraordinary year for the red-vested heroes at Ace Hardware stores. As an essential business, the hardware co-operative faced record demand for products, and a strained supply chain brought on by the pandemic. Yet, through the highs and lows, Ace Hardware continued fundraising for kids treated by their local children’s hospital.
Ace shattered previous fundraising contributions to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals through rescheduled campaigns, virtual convention fundraising, round up at the register, three successful golf outings with vendors, and more! In an unprecedented year, customers, Ace retailers, Ace team members and vendor partners came together to raise $17.9 million for CMN Hospitals, a 15 percent increase year over year.
During the peak of the pandemic, Ace stores also donated personal protective equipment to frontline workers at Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across the country. Ace continued to solidify their commitment to local children’s hospitals and the communities they serve as ‘the helpful place’ by bringing to life 39 programs and projects in areas of greatest need across member hospitals, thanks to generous vendor partners.
As Ace Hardware and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals celebrate 30 years of partnership together, we’re grateful to the helpful hardware folks at Ace for their continued support to Change Kids’ Health to Change the Future.
Thanks, Ace and congratulations!
