Dairy Queen Serves Hope for Kids this Miracle Treat Day October 28
Dairy Queen is serving hope to kids and their families by raising critical funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Children’s hospitals are at the frontlines when it comes to protecting the health of future generations. Dairy Queen brings joy and healing to kids in numerous ways. And they want to continue to help children’s hospitals foster the business owners, creators and leaders of tomorrow. But they can’t do it alone.
During a 2019 summer music tour, Ava Paige looked pale and felt weak. Her family admitted Ava Paige to her local children’s hospital where the doctor diagnosed her with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. She started a 20-day induction treatment, which, due to complications, she stayed an additional 47 days.
Ava Paige’s local children’s hospital was able to provide the support needed to keep her strong. She is more than a year into a two-and-a-half-year treatment plan and is currently in remission.
She continues to spread strength through her talent by playing music at her local children’s hospital and bringing hope to more kids. Because of your and Dairy Queen’s help, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals can help local member hospitals change the future of more kids, like Ava Paige.
Stop in at a participating Dairy Queen on Thursday, October 28 to buy a BLIZZARD Treat, where $1 or more from every BLIZZARD Treat sold will benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. With donations, local children’s hospitals can provide treatments that patients desperately need today so they can fulfill their potential for tomorrow.
Thanks to you and Dairy Queen for helping change kids’ health and change the future.
