Farewell to @MissAmerica Betty Cantrell.

On Sunday, Miss America 2016 Betty Cantrell will crown a new Miss America and will relinquish her duties as our National Goodwill Ambassador, passing them onto her successor. As we look back on the past year, we’re grateful for the smiles brought to the faces of Miracle Kids across the country by Betty.

From all of us at CMN Hospitals and on behalf of the 10 million children we treat, thank you, Betty, for an amazing year. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has a 25-year history working with the Miss America Organization. The newly crowned Miss America serves as Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals National Goodwill Ambassador. The partnership gives contestants competing at all levels of the program the added opportunity to serve their communities by raising much-needed funds for and visiting local children’s hospitals. Since 2007, contestants have raised more than $14.6 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Tune in to see who is crowned Miss America 2016 on Sunday, Sept 11 9|8c on ABC.
