From Orlando to D.C. aboard Champions 1

After a few busy days at Disney World, our U.S. Champions and their families packed up this morning for their trip to D.C. Helping a great deal in that effort was Delta Air Lines, who donated a chartered first-class 767 “Champions 1” flight.

The Delta crew could not have been nicer for the 2-hour flight, decorating the cabin with our Champions photos and stories. Here are just a few photos of our Champions getting ready to board:

While approaching the runway, Champions received a special water salute from Orlando firefighters, representing the first ever “plane wash” many Champions have ever witnessed:

Champions are looking forward to a couple days in D.C. to visit the White House, meet with their local Congressional delegates and see the sites of the capital city.
