Helena Costco making Christmas bright for kids and their families at Shodair

Children getting treatment at Shodair will have a happier and brighter Christmas thanks to their generous friends at Costco.

The local Costco in Helena asked to assist with Shodair’s Christmas Gift program. In the beginning of December, members of the Foundation department attended a Costco all-staff meeting where they  shared with the employees the hospital’s Christmas Wish List. From that wish list, the warehouse created a Giving Tree. The gift ideas were written on tags and hung on a Christmas tree in their break room.  As you can see in the photo, the response from the many kind and generous employees at Costco, Shodair’s patients will have a fun and bright Christmas.

Shodair’s mission is a special one, this Children’s Hospital is a psychiatric hospital focused on helping kids as young as 3 and as old as 18 who are struggling with mental illness and other conditions that impact their health and well-being. Shodair understands the importance of being home for the holidays and their team of professionals do their best to send children home to be with their families for Christmas; however, that is not always possible. It’s important to the staff at Shodair that all their patients experience joy during the holiday season and they depend on the generosity their local partners, like Costco, to make that happen.

Thank you Costco of Helena for supporting the wonderful and caring team at Shodair!
