Walmart and Sam’s Club Named Corporate Partner of the Year
The Corporate Partner of the Year award recognizes outstanding strategic partners that have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to CMN Hospitals through innovative fundraising and awareness initiatives.
Walmart and Sam’s Club were named Corporate Partner of the Year by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals earlier this week at the annual Children’s Hospital Week event, celebrated virtually April 19-23. The Corporate Partner of the Year recognizes outstanding strategic partners that have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to CMN Hospitals through innovative fundraising and awareness initiatives.
Since 1987, Walmart and Sam’s Club have supported Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals raising more than one billion dollars to help fund the kind of specialized care kids need, that only children’s hospitals can provide. When Sam Walton committed his company to help raise money for CMN Hospitals he promised “the associates will amaze you” and that’s exactly what they continue to do, year in and year out.
2020 was a year unlike any other. Walmart and Sam’s Club associates led our country through one of the most trying times in our history, stepping up to serve their customers, members and communities when it was truly needed. And despite the unusual circumstances, these awesome associates once again committed themselves to protect the health of future generations in their communities through their partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Because of that commitment, Walmart and Sam’s Club raised over $39 million dollars for CMN Hospitals in 2020, showing once again the impact of this powerful partnership to change kids’ health and change the future.
On behalf of the 10 million children treated each year at a CMN Hospital, thank you Walmart and Sam’s Club associates, and congratulations!
