Walmart Canada named Canadian Corporate Partner of the Year at Children’s Hospital Week 2021

The Canadian Corporate Partner of the Year award recognizes outstanding strategic partners that have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to CMN Hospitals through innovative fundraising and awareness initiatives. Walmart Canada named Children’s Miracle Network’s 2020 Canadian Corporate Partner of the Year Award for its innovative approach to fundraising, and its remarkable efforts to change the health of children in Canada in a year like no other.

The economic impact of 2020 made fundraising more difficult than ever, but Walmart Canada didn’t let a global pandemic stop them. They proceeded to break their previous fundraising record and raise $16.3 million for Children’s Miracle Network member hospital foundations!

Walmart Canada has consistently worked to support local children’s hospitals since 1994 and has cumulatively raised over $169 million during this 27-year partnership!

What motivates them year after year? Walmart Canada is dedicated to strengthening local communities and working together to spark change. This change can be seen in the way they’ve embraced difficult times to rise to the challenge to raise funds for children’s hospitals at the cash register, online, and through in-store activations led by passionate Walmart associates.
