GameStop Gives in 2019

Last year, GameStop raised over $500,000 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals through both their point of sale campaign and National Video Games Day. This is one of the best first-year campaigns in CMN Hospitals history! We are excited to welcome GameStop back for another year of miracle making on behalf of sick and injured kids in their communities.

Starting October 4th, GameStop associates will ask customers to:

  • Donate at the register in-store or at Gamestop.com.
  • Trade in for Charity. Donate up to 100 percent of trade-in value to charity when they bring used video game hardware, software, accessories or consumer electronics to GameStop;
  • Donate PowerUp Rewards points to charity in the PowerUp Rewards Center;
  • Join GameStop’s Extra Life team at https://www.extra-life.org/gamestop.

Funds raised by GameStop help kids in local communities, like Logan.

Logan has congenital muscular dystrophy, a condition with symptoms that vary depending on the individual. This makes him truly one-of-a-kind. Logan’s journey is tough to navigate as there is currently no cure for his disease.  But, Logan doesn’t focus on that. He loves Star Wars, Pokemon and making people laugh. When he talks about the future, he explains that someday he’d like to be an inventor. Regarding his condition, he says, “I just roll with it.”

GameStop’s campaign will “roll” through November 4th where funds stay local to directly help kids in that community. We are so proud to have GameStop as a partner and friend of CMN Hospitals. Thank you for all you do for local kids!
