Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Recognizes Outstanding Contributions
Children’s Hospitals Week 2023 is an opportunity to recognize and inspire the entire network. At this year’s event, CMN Hospitals acknowledged several individuals, partners, and groups who’ve made an extraordinary contribution to children’s hospitals to change kids’ health to change the future.
Founders Award
The Founder’s Award is the most prestigious award presented each year to a recipient whose time, talents, and contributions enable Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to help as many kids as possible. It is named after CMN Hospitals Founders Marie Osmond, John Schneider, Mick Shannon, and Joseph Lake. This year’s recipient was Drayton McClane Jr., a businessman, and philanthropist who has supported CMN Hospitals for over 30 years.

Child Life Specialist of the Year Presented by Ace Hardware
Ace Hardware has always been known as “The Helpful Place.” To recognize the importance of Child Life Specialists and the services they provide for children and their families, Ace Hardware, in partnership with CMN Hospitals and with support from vendor partner Benjamin Moore, presents the Child Life Specialist of the Year Award. This award honors the hard work, compassion, and helpful spirit of Child Life Specialists and brings awareness to the need for Child Life funding at local children’s hospitals.

Victoria Enmon Award
The Victoria Enmon Award recognizes the incredible effort CMN Hospitals program directors put toward the Extra Life program. Victoria, aka Tori, would spend a lot of time in her hospital room with the same games, which inspired the gaming community to come together and bring entertainment to kids at member hospitals. Through this award, those who ensure that Tori’s legacy continues to shine are honored.
