American Idol Winner Nick Fradiani Surprises Patients at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center

American Idol winner Nick Fradiani gave back to his home state of Connecticut as he surprised pediatric patients at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. While Fradiani is busy with the fall release of his latest song collection, Where We Left Off, he still made time to brighten sick kids’ day with a little music and fun.

Nick played to a packed playroom, engaging with the kids and their families as he had them all sing along with him.  After taking photos and talking with the kids there, Nick made his way to the rooms of the kids who could not come to the performance.

He played for them individually, offering hugs and words of encouragement. One teenage boy, in particular, was not sure if we wanted a visit. Nick chatted with him for a while and then played a song. By the end of the visit, the young man had the biggest smile on his face-something his mother said, she had not seen in a very long while.

Nick’s selfless service was felt and appreciated by many. You can also make a difference for sick kids in your local community by donating to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, where all funds stay local to give kids every chance to get better.
