Nick Cannon to Host #ChildrensHospitalsWeek Facebook Live-athon
Tune into Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals first Facebook Live-thon at 10 a.m. EDT on Friday, March 24, in recognition of #ChildrensHospitalsWeek.
Known for its trademark telethons in the 1980s and 1990s, the charity is returning to its roots with new technology: Facebook Live, the latest medium to connect with audiences in real time while accepting donations.
Going live at 10 a.m. EDT, host Nick Cannon will be joined by Miss America 2017 Savvy Shields, legendary NFL quarterback Steve Young and singer and Radio Disney star Alli Simpson. In addition to surprise performances and special guests, pediatric patients from each state and Canada who demonstrate the impact of local giving — Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ Champion ambassadors — will be recognized.
