Farewell to Miss America 2017 Savvy Shields

Who will she be? Tonight the Miss America Organization will crown the 2018 Miss America, and our newest National Goodwill Ambassador. For the past year, Miss America 2017, Savvy Shields, has brought smiles to pediatric patients across the country. Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has had a more than 25-year partner with the Miss America Organization. The newly crowned Miss America serves as CMN Hospitals National Goodwill Ambassador. The partnership gives contestants competing at all levels of the program the added opportunity to serve their communities by raising much-needed funds for and visiting local children’s hospitals.

Since 2007, contestants have raised more than $16 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Tune in to see who is crowned Miss America 2018 Sept. 10 on ABC. We’ll be live on the Miss America red carpet raising funds:
