Miss America Serves Raises Funds for CMN Hospitals

On April 18th, Miss America contestants and volunteers joined forces and participated in community service activities like visiting their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, cleaning a park, beach or neighborhood, assisting youth and senior organizations, visiting nursing homes, or collecting clothes, stocking food pantries or feeding the homeless – all while collecting donations for the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Contestants were pretty excited about it…

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has a 25-year history working with the Miss America Organization. The charity was officially named MAO’s national platform in 2007. Since then, the partnership has raised more than $10 million, benefiting Children Miracle Network Hospitals across the U.S. Final fundraising totals for Miss America Serves are still coming in, but as of now, more than $84K funds will help provide the best care available to the more than 10 million kids that enter a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital each year.
