RE/MAX Unlimited Results Realty’s Bryan Schube Utilizes Social Media to Market the Partnership

Bryan Schube of RE/MAX Unlimited Results Realty is SOLD on the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility! He knows that CSR is becoming more and more crucial to consumers’ purchasing decisions:

“Purpose-driven companies will gain competitive differentiation across a variety of decisions — the first of which goes straight to a company’s bottom-line. Nearly nine-in-10 (88%) Americans say they would buy products from a company leading with Purpose.” The top way that Americans feel a company should demonstrate its purpose is through CSR – operating in a way that benefits society and the environment (http://www.conecomm.com/research-blog/2018-purpose-study).

RE/MAX agents like Bryan are starting to include CMN Hospitals as part of their brand, and one way that Bryan is marketing the cause is by including photos of his clients holding CMN Hospitals sign riders on his Instagram account.

We asked him a few questions about how he got started raising funds and awareness for his local CMN Hospital.

Q: Why is it important to contribute to your local CMN Hospital?

A: From the time I was very young, my parents taught me the importance of giving back to your community and helping others, especially when they need your help the most. Sometimes you may be helping family or a random stranger. After graduating high school, I made the decision to go to college and further my education in the nursing field because I wanted to be able to continue to help people. During my time in the nursing program, I had the opportunity to spend a semester working at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH. I spent much of that semester personally getting to know many of the young children and their families and learning their stories. I never would have thought that spending such a short amount of time at a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital would have such an amazing impact on my life. I learned that CMN Hospitals rely so heavily on the gracious donations from people all over the community – were more like a home to many of these young children and their families. Midway through the nursing program, I decided that nursing just was not what I was meant to do. I made the decision to become a licensed real estate agent. After talking with family and friends and meeting with Bill and Kelli Jones, the owners of RE/MAX Unlimited Results Realty in Tiffin, OH, I decided to become a RE/MAX agent. After obtaining my license and starting my real estate career, I knew that I somehow needed to incorporate giving back to my community. When I learned about the partnership between RE/MAX and CMN Hospitals, I knew that this was the perfect opportunity to be able to give back to my local community. CMN Hospitals truly are miracle hospitals!

Q: Do your clients or potential leads appreciate that you are involved in your local community? Has partnering with CMN Hospitals had a positive effect on your business?

A: Many of my clients and potential leads appreciate the fact that I am so involved in helping to support our local community. Partnering with CMN Hospitals has provided me with another marketing tool, which has helped me to set myself apart from many of the other agents and offices in my area. I have even had some potential new leads see my yard signs and when they call in they ask, “Are you the one who has the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital riders on your sign?”

Q: Do you have any advice or words or encouragement for agents who are not yet involved in the Miracle Home Program, or who struggle to market themselves as miracle agents?

A: I would encourage all agents who are not yet involved in the Miracle Home Program to get online and do some more research about becoming a Miracle Agent or better yet, a Miracle Office. There is nothing better than being able to give back to your local community while at the same time giving yourself an extra marketing tool. This will allow you to set yourself apart from many of the other agents and offices in your area. I would also encourage agents to make sure they are taking full advantage of being a Miracle Agent by making sure that they are sending out Honor Cards to all their buyers and sellers letting them know that they have made a donation on their behalf.
