CU Direct Gives $60,000 in Donations to Celebrate 20-Year Anniversary

CU Direct, the nation’s leading provider of lending, automotive and strategic solutions to the credit union industry, celebrated its recent 20th anniversary with a special contest resulting in $60,000 donated to six Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

The contest, which garnered 375,000 votes, received an overwhelming response prompting CU Direct to award two hospitals $20,000 each plus a $5,000 consolation prize to four additional hospitals, instead of the originally intended single prize of $20,000.

The contest prompted subsequent support from local donors, including a $20,000 donation from a Hurley Children's Hospital doctor in Flint, Mich. and donation matches from local area credit unions.
